Teachers Fund Announces Restoration of GOG TPRS for Loan Processing Effective....
Following a period of temporary disruption that affected loan verification procedures, the Teachers Fund has officially confirmed the full restoration of the Government of Ghana (GOG) Third Party Reference System (TPRS), effective 16 February 2026.
The reactivation of the platform restores the necessary verification framework required for processing members’ loan applications and signals a return to normal operational standards.
Members are required to generate their 11-digit mandate numbers exclusively from the old GOG payslip portal and validate their One-Time Password (OTP) on the same platform. The 10-digit mandate numbers produced by the new GOG payslip portal are not compatible with the TPRS infrastructure and must therefore not be used for loan processing.
Applicants are further advised to confirm that their mandate numbers remain valid and have not exceeded six (6) months from the date of issuance. Accuracy is essential when completing the loan application form, particularly in entering the mandate number. Care must be taken to differentiate between the numeral “0” (zero) and the letter “O,” as input errors may result in processing delays.
Loan applications already submitted to the Secretariat, and which have no outstanding issues, are currently undergoing processing. Members seeking clarification or technical assistance may contact the Fund via telephone on 0302 429 888 or through WhatsApp on 050 9331 260 or 020 066 2031.
District GNAT Secretaries are encouraged to disseminate this update promptly to ensure broad awareness among members. The notice was endorsed on 16 February 2026 by the Chief Operations Officer on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, reaffirming the Fund’s commitment to efficient service delivery.
