NTC Announces Release of 2025 GTLE II Results, Issues Important Restrictions
In a joint public notice issued by the NTC and the Ghana Education Service (GES), the Council stated that the 2025 GTLE II results will be made available on Monday, December 15, 2025. Candidates are, however, expected to take note of specific conditions attached to the release.
Key Directives Candidates Must Observe
Certificate Printing Temporarily Suspended
Candidates who completed their training programmes in 2025 can only view their results for now. Printing of professional teaching certificates has been suspended until training institutions submit and validate their official graduation lists with the Council.
“IC” Status on Pedagogy Scores
Candidates whose institutions have not uploaded teaching practice scores will see “IC” (Incomplete) under the Pedagogy component. This status indicates that the score is provisional and will be updated once the institution completes the required upload.
The NTC has stressed that candidates affected by this issue should contact their respective colleges or universities directly, as the Council will not handle such corrections.
How to Check the 2025 GTLE II Results
Once the results portal becomes active on December 15, candidates can access their results by following these steps:
1. Visit the official NTC results portal
2. Enter your GTLE index number
3. Provide any additional required login details
4. Click on “Check Results”
Candidates are advised to use reliable internet connections and trusted devices when accessing the portal. Certificate printing will only be available to eligible candidates after institutional verification is completed.
Importance of the 2025 GTLE II Results
The Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination remains a compulsory requirement for professional teacher certification. The release of the 2025 GTLE II results is critical as it determines:
•Eligibility for professional licensing
•Readiness for postings under the Ghana Education Service
•Entry into the professional teaching workforce
The announcement has already generated significant interest among teacher trainees across the country.
Official Assurance from NTC
The statement, signed by the Public Affairs Unit of the National Teaching Council, urged candidates to remain calm, follow the approved procedures, and rely only on official communication channels for accurate information.
Candidates are encouraged to stay in touch with their institutions and monitor official NTC updates as further directives may be issued.
