GNAT Releases Notice of Poll for 2026 National Elections

The National Teaching Council of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has officially published the Notice of Poll for the upcoming 2026 National GNAT Elections. 

This announcement is in accordance with Section 3.3.1(b) of the Guidelines for the Conduct of Elections in GNAT (2024).

The National GNATEC, responsible for overseeing the electoral process, has attached the full Notice of Poll for the attention of all GNAT members across the country. Members are encouraged to take note of the details and actively participate in ensuring a transparent and smooth electoral exercise.

In a circular issued by the National Secretariat, all regional, district, local, and unit executives of GNAT have been instructed to:

1. Share the Notice of Poll on all official GNAT social media platforms, including regional, district, local, and unit-level pages.

2. Display copies of the notice on GNAT and GES/TVET District notice boards within their respective jurisdictions.

3. Forward the information to all validated delegates participating in the 2026 National GNAT Elections.

The Secretariat expressed appreciation to all members for their cooperation and continued commitment to the association’s democratic processes.

Government Approves 2025 Salary Increase for Public Sector Workers on the Single Spine Salary Structure

2025 Salary Adjustment Announced for Public Service Institutions on the Single Spine Structure The Government of Ghana has approved a 10% across-the-board salary increase for all public sector institutions under the Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS).  This follows the successful conclusion of negotiations on the 2025 base pay, as confirmed in a recent communication from the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission.
