GES Finally Secures Financial Clearance for Payment of Newly Recruited Teachers.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has attained a significant breakthrough in securing financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance, thereby facilitating the payment of salaries to 6,249 teachers recruited in 2024.

This pivotal development constitutes a major milestone in the ongoing endeavors to formalize the employment status of these pedagogues.

In accordance with a statement signed by Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations at the GES, the financial clearance will enable the Service to expedite the requisite administrative processes, ensuring that the affected teachers receive their remuneration in a timely manner, sans any further delay. The GES is working assiduously to finalize the payment process, thereby obviating any potential inconvenience to the teachers.

The financial clearance, valid until December 31, 2025, will facilitate the integration of all eligible teachers into the mechanized payroll, ensuring that they receive their November 2025 salary payments without any disruptions. This development is anticipated to bring considerable relief to the affected teachers, who have been eagerly anticipating payment. The prompt payment of salaries is an essential aspect of employee welfare, and the GES is committed to ensuring that its staff receives their entitlements in a timely and efficient manner.

The GES Management has expressed profound appreciation to the teachers for their unwavering dedication and patience, reaffirming its commitment to facilitating timely and accurate salary payments. The Service recognizes the paramount importance of its employees and is working tirelessly to ensure that they receive their entitlements without any undue delays or bureaucratic encumbrances.

This development serves as a testament to the GES's unwavering commitment to the welfare of its employees, underscoring its dedication to creating a conducive working environment that fosters productivity, professionalism, and pedagogical excellence.
