CAGD Announces Salary Payment Dates for October, November, and December 2025.
The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has reaffirmed its commitment to timely and transparent salary disbursements by releasing the official payment schedule for public sector workers covering October, November, and December 2025.This quarterly announcement provides clarity and assurance to thousands of government employees across the country, particularly as the year draws to a close and financial planning becomes crucial for many households.
The CAGD explained that it remains dedicated to ensuring smooth coordination between government agencies, ministries, and financial institutions to prevent unnecessary payment delays. By publishing the payment dates well in advance, the Department seeks to promote financial discipline, enhance transparency, and help workers plan ahead, especially during the festive season.
According to the schedule, salaries for the final quarter of the year will be released as follows:
•October 2025: Thursday, October 23, 2025
•November 2025: Monday, November 24, 2025
•December 2025: Thursday, December 18, 2025
The Department noted that funds are transferred to the respective banks on these dates, although some financial institutions may take an additional one or two days to credit employees’ accounts due to internal processing systems.
In line with its tradition, the CAGD has scheduled an early salary release in December to enable public sector workers to adequately prepare for the Christmas festivities. This gesture, the Department said, underscores its recognition of the economic pressures families face during the festive period and its continuous effort to ease financial stress.
The Department also assured workers that it will continue to provide timely updates if there are any changes to the payment schedule due to technical or administrative challenges. Public sector employees are encouraged to take note of these dates, plan their budgets wisely, and contact their employers or the CAGD directly for any clarification regarding their salary credits.
This proactive release once again demonstrates the CAGD’s commitment to accountability, reliability, and efficient public financial management across all government institutions.
