Ministry of Education Education Reschedules Internal Audit on GALOP Activities in Ahafo, Bono East, and Savannah Regions.

Ministry of Education Education  Reschedules Internal Audit on GALOP Activities in Ahafo, Bono East, and Savannah Regions.

The Ministry of Education has announced a change in the schedule for the planned internal audit on GALOP (Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project) activities in selected basic schools.

In a circular dated 4th August 2025 and signed by Edward Fiawoyifie (CIA, FCCA), Director of Internal Audit, the ministry indicated that the exercise, originally set to commence on Monday, 11th August 2025, will no longer proceed as planned. The postponement is due to the ongoing vacation of pupils in basic schools, which affects the availability of relevant stakeholders for the audit process.

The ministry assured that a new schedule date will be communicated later and has urged District Directors and school management to take note and prepare accordingly once the revised timetable is released.

This development affects Ahafo, Bono East, and Savannah Regions, as indicated in the official distribution list of the circular.

The notice was also copied to the Director-General of GES, with the ministry expressing appreciation for the cooperation of all parties involved in ensuring the successful execution of the audit once it is rescheduled.
