Ghana Education Service Grants Approval for English Language Facilitators to Attend Annual Delegates Conference.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has given the green light for all English Language facilitators from Senior High Schools (SHS), Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS), Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, and Basic Schools to participate in the upcoming Annual Delegates Conference.

Scheduled to take place from Sunday, 28th September to Friday, 3rd October 2025 at the West African Senior High School in Accra, this important event carries the theme: “Equipping the Learner with 21st Century Skills: The Role of the English Language Facilitator.” The conference aims to empower facilitators with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively prepare learners for the challenges and opportunities of the modern world.

Participants will engage in interactive workshops, panel discussions, and collaborative sessions designed to enhance teaching methodologies and integrate essential 21st-century skills into the English curriculum. This gathering also provides a platform for facilitators to share best practices and foster professional networks across educational levels.

To ensure maximum participation, Regional Directors are advised to disseminate this information to Metro, Municipal, and District Directors, who will then notify heads of SHS, SHTS, TVET, and Basic Schools in their areas. Such coordinated efforts will guarantee broad involvement and support from all stakeholders.

The Ghana Education Service remains dedicated to improving the quality of English language education and views this conference as a critical step in achieving that goal.
