GES Extends Deadline for 2025 SHS School Selection.

The Ghana Education Service has officially extended the deadline for the 2025 Senior High School placement exercise, granting Junior High School candidates until June 25, 2025, to complete and submit their school choices. 

This extension comes in response to the incorporation of private Senior High Schools into the national placement system, thereby broadening the spectrum of educational opportunities available to prospective students.

Despite the revision of the timeline, all procedural guidelines and regulatory frameworks governing the selection process remain fully operative. Candidates are expected to observe the stipulated protocols meticulously to ensure the accuracy and completeness of their submissions. At this decisive juncture, students must engage in careful deliberation, taking into account their academic aptitudes, career aspirations, and long-term educational objectives.

The role of parents, guardians, and educators remains indispensable in this process. Their informed counsel will assist candidates in navigating the expanded list of institutions, which now encompasses both public and private Senior High Schools.
