Electoral Commission Set to Pay Allowances to Temporary Staff

The Electoral Commission has officially announced that payment of allowances for Temporary Staff will soon commence. This update comes as a great relief to many who have patiently waited for news regarding their payments.

In a statement released on Thursday, 12th June 2025, the Commission revealed that the Ministry of Finance has released the necessary funds to facilitate these payments. With this development, the Commission is now making the necessary arrangements to ensure that all eligible Temporary Staff receive their allowances without further delays.

The Commission assured all concerned staff that payments are being processed with urgency. According to the information provided, Temporary Staff should expect their allowances to reflect in their accounts on or before Friday, 20th June 2025.

Mrs. Jean Mensa, Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, expressed appreciation to the Temporary Staff for their patience and understanding throughout the period of waiting. She emphasized the Commission's commitment to ensuring that everyone who served receives what is rightfully due them.
