NSS Cautions Personnel on Timely Submission of Monthly Evaluation Forms
National Service Secretariat Warns Personnel Over Late Submission of Evaluation Forms. The National Service Authority (NSA) has issued a firm reminder to all National Service Personnel regarding the timely submission of their Monthly Evaluation Forms.
According to the directive, all personnel are required to submit their evaluation forms strictly between the 15th and 20th of each month. This timeline aligns with the Authority’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which guides the allowance payment process.
Unfortunately, the NSA has observed that some personnel have resorted to delaying the submission of these forms on purpose. Their aim, reportedly, is to accumulate unpaid months in a bid to "compile their monies" and submit them all at once. Worse still, some of these individuals present the compiled forms at district offices when it suits them, creating unnecessary pressure on the system.
Management has made it clear that such practices not only violate laid-down procedures but also cause serious delays in the processing of allowances for other months. This creates a backlog that makes it difficult for staff to process payments efficiently, potentially denying deserving personnel their timely stipends.
The notice strongly emphasized that failure to comply with the submission deadline will result in forfeiture of stipends for the affected month. Additionally, only forms submitted for a current month will be accepted. Any compiled forms from previous months will not be processed.
The Authority also reassured personnel of its commitment to ensuring prompt payment of allowances, but warned that it would not entertain any practices that compromise the integrity and efficiency of the system.
In conclusion, all National Service Personnel are encouraged to strictly comply with this directive to avoid unnecessary consequences and to support the smooth running of the allowance disbursement process.
