Ashanti Region NASPA Opens Nominations for 2025 Elections.

As the 2024/2025 national service year progresses steadily, the Ashanti Regional branch of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has taken a significant step toward ensuring a smooth transition of leadership. 

In a formal announcement dated May 20, 2025, the regional secretariat declared the official opening of nominations for the upcoming NASPA elections. This marks a crucial period where service personnel are given the opportunity to step forward and contribute meaningfully to the welfare and development of their colleagues through leadership.

NASPA plays a central role in representing the interests of national service personnel, advocating for their rights, and coordinating various initiatives to enhance their experience throughout the service year. Leadership within this association requires individuals who are not only committed and proactive but also passionate about volunteerism and national development. As such, this election process is more than just a formality, it is a call to responsible service and a platform for emerging leaders to rise and shape the future of the association.

All qualified and interested service personnel in the Ashanti Region are invited to pick and submit nomination forms for the following executive positions:

1. President

2. Vice President

3. General Secretary

4. Financial Secretary

5. Organizing Secretary

6. Women’s Commissioner

Nomination forms can be obtained from the Regional NASPA Office in Adum. Office hours for nomination activities run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily.

Key Election Dates and Activities

Service personnel are advised to take note of the following timeline:

•Picking of Nomination Forms: From 20th May to 26th May 2025

•Filing of Nomination Forms: 27th May 2025

•Vetting of Aspirants: 28th May 2025

•Regional Conference and Election: Date yet to be announced
