GES – Central Gonja District Seeks Candidates for Educational Leadership and Coordination Positions

Central Gonja District GES Invites Applications for Leadership and Coordination Roles to Strengthen Educational Management.

The Central Gonja District Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) is excited to announce several vacancies for key positions within the district's educational system. 

As part of its commitment to promoting effective supervision, improving teaching standards, and driving academic excellence, the Directorate invites qualified professional teachers to apply for these appointments. 

These roles offer a unique opportunity for educators to take on new challenges, enhance their skills, and contribute to the growth and development of the education sector in the Central Gonja District.

Available Positions

1. Second Cycle/Agriculture Coordinator

2. Basic/Private Schools Coordinator

3. School Improvement Support Officer (SISO)

4. Headteacher/Headmaster/Mistress

Eligibility Requirements

For Coordinator and SISO Roles

•Must be a professional teacher

•Hold a rank of Assistant Director I or higher

•Credible track record within the GES

•Strong commitment and work ethic

•At least three years of service remaining before retirement

For Headship Positions

•Must be a professional teacher

•Hold a minimum rank of Principal Superintendent

•Credible service record within GES

•Dedication and commitment to duty

•At least three years to retirement

Added Advantage

Proficiency in basic computing will be considered an added advantage for all positions.

Application Process

To apply, please submit four (4) copies of the following documents:

1. Written application letter

2. Completed and signed personal record form

3. Copy of the latest promotion letter

4. Copies of the highest professional and academic certificates

Submission Deadline

All completed application documents must be submitted to the District Education Directorate, Buipe, no later than *12th May 2025*. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
