GA-East National Service Personnel Association Responds to Delay in Monthly Allowance Payments

National Service Personnel Association (GA-East) Addresses Allowance Payment Delay, Promises Resolution Soon.

The GA-East branch of the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has officially responded to growing concerns about the delay in monthly allowance payments.

In a notice issued by the Municipal Financial Secretary, Annor Silas Manu, personnel were informed that the Accounts Department of the National Service Authority (NSA) Headquarters is currently facing technical challenges. These challenges have affected the smooth processing of allowances for National Service Personnel (NSPs) across the district.

The National Service Personnel Association (GA-East) emphasized that efforts are underway to address the issue swiftly. Management is working closely with the relevant authorities to compile all pending payment records for resubmission to the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GHIPSS), the body responsible for processing such payments.

The association indicated that it is hopeful the problem will be resolved by tomorrow or by the close of business on Monday. Meanwhile, the National Service Personnel Association (GA-East) extended its sincere apologies to all affected personnel and urged them to remain calm and patient during this period.

For further information or inquiries, personnel are encouraged to contact the listed NASPA GA-East executives.

Stay tuned for updates as this situation unfolds.
