The Ghana Education Service, Eastern Region, has taken a significant step towards recognizing and rewarding the professional development of its teaching staff.In line with the directives of the Director-General, the Regional Directorate has issued a call to all Municipal and District Directors of Education to compile data on teaching staff who have successfully upgraded themselves.
This initiative aims to facilitate the issuance of upgrading letters to all eligible staff, acknowledging their hard work and dedication to self-improvement.
Required Documents
To facilitate the compilation of data, the following documents are required:
- A copy of the certificate
- A copy of the graduation brochure where the staff's name appeared
- Current payslip
- Photocopy of Ghana Card (front and back)
- Admission letter
Instructions
The data should be compiled using the upgrading template and forwarded to the Regional Directorate (HRS Office) along with the required documents. It is essential that all staff within the respective districts are informed of this directive to ensure a smooth compilation process.
Submission Deadline
The compiled data and attachments should be submitted on or before Friday, 2nd May 2024. It is crucial that all Directors of Education adhere to this deadline to facilitate the issuance of upgrading letters to eligible staff.
