2025/2026 Colleges of Education Admission Forms Now Available – PRINCOF Opens Application Portal

PRINCOF Releases 2025/2026 Admission Forms for Colleges of Education

The 2025/2026 admission forms for Ghana’s public Colleges of Education have been officially released by the Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF). 

PRINCOFF oversees the administration of all 46 public Colleges of Education across the country. They have opened the application portal for prospective students to apply for the 4-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programmes. 

Programmes Offered

Applicants can pursue a 4-Year B.Ed degree in any of the following specializations:

•Early Grade Education

•Primary Education

•Junior High School (JHS) Education

•Includes subject specializations such as:

•Science

•Mathematics

•ICT

•Languages (English, French, Ghanaian Languages)

•Social Studies, etc.

Admission Requirements

1. WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants

•You must have credits in six subjects:

Three Core Subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and either Integrated Science or Social Studies.

•Three Elective Subjects relevant to your preferred programme.

2. GCE/ABCE/TVET Applicants

•Specific subject combinations are required. Kindly consult the full guidelines for detailed requirements.

3. Special Needs Applicants

•Modified requirements apply for the Visually and Hearing Impaired.

•Only selected Colleges are designated to admit special needs applicants.

Application Process – Step by Step

1. Payment

•Pay GHS 350 via:

•Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) or

•Mobile Money using the shortcode: *9248#

2. Online Application

•Use the PIN and Serial Number provided after payment.

•Apply online through the official portal HERE

3. Submission

•Print out your completed application form.

•Attach one passport-sized photograph and your results slip.

•Submit to your first-choice College via Ghana Post EMS.

Important Notes

•Deadline: 31st August 2025

•Number of Colleges: 46 public Colleges of Education across the country.

•Each College is affiliated to a major public university:

•University of Ghana (UG), University of Cape Coast (UCC), University of Education, Winneba (UEW), or

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

•TVET and French Education options are available in selected institutions.
