GES Announces Optional Easter Break for Form Two Transitional Track Students

Ghana Education Service Announces Easter Break for Form Two Students in Transitional Track Schools.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially declared an Easter break for Form Two students in Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools operating under the Transitional Track system.

This decision aims to provide students with a well-deserved break to relax, recharge, and spend quality time with their families during the Easter festivities. The Easter break is scheduled to take place from Thursday, April 17, 2025, to Monday, April 21, 2025.

During this period, students are given the option to join their families or remain on campus. For those who choose to stay in school, proper supervision will be provided by school authorities to ensure their safety and well-being.

All students who travel home for the Easter break are expected to return to school on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, ready to resume their academic activities without delay. This timely return will enable them to catch up on any lessons or assignments missed during their absence and stay on track with their studies, ensuring a smooth continuation of the academic calendar.

School administrators are expected to communicate effectively with students and parents to ensure a smooth transition.

To ensure the successful implementation of this directive, Regional Directors have been tasked with disseminating the information to all relevant school heads.

This will enable schools to make necessary arrangements and preparations for the break, ensuring that students have a safe and enjoyable experience.

The Ghana Education Service's decision to grant Form Two students in Transitional Track schools an Easter break is a welcome relief for students and parents alike.

By providing students with a short break, the GES aims to promote their overall well-being and academic performance.

As the Easter break approaches, students are encouraged to make the most of this opportunity to relax, reflect, and rejuvenate before resuming their studies.
