The Ghana Education Service (GES) Directorate in the Central Gonja District has announced an exciting opportunity for aspiring education leaders.
The district is currently inviting applications for three key leadership roles within the education sector, as part of a broader effort to strengthen its education administration.

Vacant Positions
Applications are invited for the following schedule officer positions:
•Second Cycle/Agriculture
•Basic Schools Coordinator
•Guidance and Counselling
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
•Be a professional teacher
•Attain the rank of Assistant Director I
•Possess a credible service record in the GES
•Show commitment and dedication to duty
•Be eligible to serve at least three more years before compulsory retirement
For the Guidance and Counselling role, candidates must additionally hold a first or master’s degree in a relevant field. Basic computing knowledge is also considered an asset for all positions.

•Each applicant must submit four (4) copies of the following:
•A personal application letter
•A completed and signed personal record form
•Their latest promotion letter
•Certified copies of the highest academic and professional certificates
Submission Details
Completed applications should be delivered to the Central Gonja District Education Directorate in Buipe no later than 18th April 2025. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
