Registration Opens for National Service Defaulters and Private Candidates
The National Service Authority (NSA) is pleased to announce the commencement of registration for defaulters and private candidates for the 2025/2026 national service year.
This registration window presents a unique opportunity for Ghanaian citizens who have completed their tertiary education but, due to various circumstances, were unable to participate in the national service program during previous years.
This initiative aims to provide a second chance for eligible individuals to fulfill their national service obligations and contribute meaningfully to the development of Ghana.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must fall into one of the following categories:
•Private candidates with certified credentials from accredited tertiary institutions
•Ghanaian nationals who have studied abroad
Requirements for Registration.
To register, applicants must submit the following documents:
1. Formal Letter: A formal letter addressed to the Director-General of NSA requesting a PIN Code or the reactivation of an existing PIN Code.
2. Attestation Letter: An attestation letter from the institution attended.
3. School Certificate: A certified true copy of the applicant’s school certificate.
4. Ghana Card and Student ID: Copies of the applicant’s Ghana Card and Student ID.
5. Passport: For applicants trained abroad, their passport must be presented for inspection.
6. Processing Fee: Payment of a processing fee of GHC 50.00.
7. Original Documents: Original copies of all documents must be provided for verification.
Submission Guidelines
Eligible applicants are required to submit their registration documents at any NSA Regional Office nationwide or at the NSA Headquarters in Accra.
Submissions will be accepted during working hours from Monday, March 17, 2025, to Friday, July 18, 2025, excluding weekends and public holidays .
