GES Reinstates Revoked Teacher Appointments

GES Recalls Revoked Appointment of Teachers.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has made a significant announcement, recalling the revoked appointments of teachers whose recruitments were previously canceled

This decision comes after an earlier directive from the Chief of Staff, which led to the revocation of appointments for teaching and non-teaching staff yet to be added to the government payroll .

According to a letter, the GES has established a validation process to reinstate the recruitments of affected staff.

To facilitate this process, a three-member committee comprising Regional Human Resource Officer, Regional Internal Auditor, and Regional Accountant has been set up.

Affected staff are required to submit the following documents:

- Appointment Letter

- Academic Certificate

- Licensure Certificate

- National Service Certificate

to support the validation exercise. The deadline for completing the validation process is March 14, 2025

This move is part of the GES's efforts to streamline its payroll system and ensure that only properly vetted and qualified staff remain on its database.

The GES is urging affected teachers to comply with the requirements before the deadline to avoid further complications.
