EC Brings a Word of Hope to Election Personnel Regarding Payment of Allowances

EC Announces
Assurance of Payment of 2024 Election-Related Allowances.

The Electoral Commission  (EC) has announced the payment of allowances to personnel who participated in the recently concluded General Election.


According to a letter from the EC signed by Chair person Jean Menash, the Commission expressed its "sincerest gratitude" to the personnel for their "exemplary service" and "professionalism" during the election.


The letter stated that the EC acknowledged a delay in paying election-related allowances and assured personnel that they are "working tirelessly" to secure funds from the Ministry of Finance.


The EC assured that as soon as the funds are released, the Commission will make "prompt payment" to the affected personnel.


The letter concluded by appreciating the patience and understanding of the personnel and assuring them that their "perseverance will be rewarded soon."


The EC's announcement is expected to bring relief to the personnel who have been waiting for their allowances.
