Admission Requirements:

•Diploma in Basic Education (Science & Mathematics Option)

•HND in any science-related field (CGPA of 2.5 or higher)

Duration: 3 Sandwich Semesters (First Semester starts July 2025)

3.2) Faculty of Educational Foundations

Department of Basic Education

Certificate Programme in Montessori Education

Admission Requirements:

Direct Entry: Certificate from a recognized institution or WASSCE/SSSCE with six passes (including Mathematics & English).

Mature Candidates: 5+ years of teaching experience in early childhood education and must pass an interview.

Target Market: Teachers, NGOs, Ministry of Education staff, school proprietors, consultants, and lecturers interested in Montessori education.

Duration: 2 long vacation periods (8 weeks each)

Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Admission Requirements:

•WASSCE/SSSCE holders: 5 passes including Core Mathematics, English, and either Science or Social Studies.

•Certificate in Early Childhood Education or Teacher’s Certificate ‘A’.

Duration: 3 long vacation periods (8 weeks each)

Government Approves 2025 Salary Increase for Public Sector Workers on the Single Spine Salary Structure

2025 Salary Adjustment Announced for Public Service Institutions on the Single Spine Structure The Government of Ghana has approved a 10% across-the-board salary increase for all public sector institutions under the Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS).  This follows the successful conclusion of negotiations on the 2025 base pay, as confirmed in a recent communication from the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission.
